One-Time Registration (OTR)
  • Candidates must generate their OTR on the new SSC website (https://ssc.gov.in).
  • OTRs generated on the old website (https://ssc.nic.in) will not be functional on the new website.
  • Once generated, the OTR on the new website will be valid for all future examinations on the new site.
Filling the Application:

After generating the OTR, candidates can proceed to fill out the application for the examination.

How to Apply and Application Fee
  1. Submission of Applications:

    1. Applications must be submitted online through the official SSC website: https://ssc.gov.in.
    2. For detailed instructions, refer to Annexure-III and Annexure-IV of the notice.
    3. Follow the sample proforma for One-Time Registration and online Application Forms as provided in the notification.
  2. Photograph Requirements:

    1. The application module is designed to capture the candidate’s photograph during the application process.
    2. Ensure the photograph is clear, without a cap or spectacles, and shows a full-frontal view.
    3. Refer to Annexure XV for examples of acceptable and unacceptable photographs.
    4. If the captured photograph is not acceptable, recapture it as per the guidelines.
    5. Applications with unacceptable photographs are liable to be rejected.
    6. The candidate's appearance in the examination should match the photograph in the application form.
  3. Instructions for Capturing Live Photographs:

    1. Find a place with good lighting and a plain background.
    2. Ensure the camera is at eye level before taking the photo.
    3. Position yourself directly in front of the camera and look straight ahead.
    4. Do not wear a cap, mask, or glasses/spectacles while capturing the photo.
  4. Signature Requirements:

    1. Upload the scanned signature in JPEG format (10 to 20 KB).
    2. The image dimension should be approximately 4.0 cm (width) x 2.0 cm (height).
    3. Applications with blurred signatures will be summarily rejected.
