The Computer-Based Examination will be conducted in two papers as indicated below:

Paper-I

Subjects and Marks:

General Intelligence and Reasoning:

  • Number of Questions: 50
  • Maximum Marks: 50

General Awareness:

  • Number of Questions: 50
  • Maximum Marks: 50

General Engineering (Choose one):

  • Part-A: Civil & Structural
  • Part-B: Electrical
  • Part-C: Mechanical
  • Number of Questions: 100
  • Maximum Marks: 100

Examination Duration: 2 hours

Paper-II

Mode of Examination: Computer-Based Examination

Subjects and Marks:

  • General Engineering (Choose one):
    • Part-A: Civil & Structural
    • Part-B: Electrical
    • Part-C: Mechanical
    • Number of Questions: 100
    • Maximum Marks: 300

Examination Duration: 2 hours

Candidates must attempt the General Engineering part (i.e., Part-A, Part-B, or Part-C) in both Paper-I and Paper-II, as selected by them based on their stream/subject of educational qualification in the online application form. Specifically:

  • Candidates from the Civil Stream must attempt Part-A (Civil & Structural) in both Paper-I and Paper-II.
  • Candidates from the Electrical Stream must attempt Part-B (Electrical) in both Paper-I and Paper-II.
  • Candidates from the Mechanical Stream must attempt Part-C (Mechanical) in both Paper-I and Paper-II.

Failure to attempt the appropriate part based on their stream will result in the rejection of their candidature
